What we are looking for: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving On the job you will handle: • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Score the top of loaves before baking • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
