Argon welder — Logan County

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Logan County, North Dakota. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
