We are recruiting: elevator service technician (Georgia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Troup County, Georgia. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. You will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
