Machine operator (earthworks) — Yamaltu/Deba

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Yamaltu/Deba, Gombe State. Requirements: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control The role involves backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around ₦3,500 per day, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
