Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Illela, Sokoto State. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work You will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
