Auto painter — Currituck County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an auto painter in Currituck County, North Carolina. You will work at an accident repair centre. Your main tasks: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE Full-time, day shift. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
