Finishing presser — Hancock County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Hancock County, West Virginia. On a typical shift you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; give each garment a final press before packing; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Part-time with flexible hours.
