Earthmoving plant operator — Wabash County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Wabash County, Indiana. The role involves: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
