Reinforcement fitter — Ibarapa East

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Ibarapa East, Oyo State. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. On a typical shift you will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
