Join our team: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Taylor County, Georgia. The job is at a shipyard. The role involves: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 2+ years on the tools preferred.
