Plastering hand — Blue Earth County

Now hiring: we are hiring a plastering hand in Blue Earth County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Your main tasks: • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Check walls for plumb and level as you go Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
