Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Day to day you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch.
