Production machine operator wanted in Somerset County

Now hiring: we are hiring a production machine operator in Somerset County, Maine. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings The role involves: • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits.
