Sample machinist — Muskegon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Muskegon County, Michigan. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. On a typical shift you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits.
