Join our team: we are hiring a digger driver in Irwin County, Georgia. The job is on a pipeline and trenching crew. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones The role involves: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers Rotating shifts.
