Great opportunity: we are hiring a press machine operator in Southampton County, Virginia. You will load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
