Rigging foreman • West Dunbartonshire, Scotland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigging foreman in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. You will be based at a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Full-time, day shift.
