Now hiring: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Telford and Wrekin, England. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. The role involves: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Part-time with flexible hours.
