Sample machinist — Madison County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sample machinist in Madison County, Texas. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently You will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish.
