Falsework carpenter wanted in Smyth County

Join our team: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Smyth County, Virginia. You will work on a bridge and flyover project. Your main tasks: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Requirements: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
