Join our team: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Ringgold County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy construction site. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Day to day you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
