Fettler wanted in Clinton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fettler in Clinton County, Iowa. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
