Production welder • Ebonyi, Ebonyi State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production welder in Ebonyi, Ebonyi State. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. On a typical shift you will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 3+ years on the tools preferred.
