Now hiring: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in DeWitt County, Illinois. You will work on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Valid driving licence for field call-outs On a typical shift you will braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
