Press machine operator — Kankakee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a press machine operator in Kankakee County, Illinois. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. Day to day you will carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line. What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
