Formwork erector — Plymouth County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork erector in Plymouth County, Iowa. You will work on a bridge and flyover project. You will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
