Dogger wanted in Wise County

Now hiring: we are hiring a dogger in Wise County, Virginia. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Rotating shifts.
