Great opportunity: we are hiring a head baker in Starke County, Indiana. Your main tasks: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics 1+ years on the tools preferred.
