Immediate opening: vacuum press operator (Oregon)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Klamath County, Oregon. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day to day you will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
