Sewing machine operator — Tyler County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Tyler County, West Virginia. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. The role involves: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Six days a week, one day off.
