Rebar worker — Mercer County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar worker in Mercer County, Illinois. You will work on a busy residential building site. Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire On a typical shift you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
