Bulldozer operator — Derbyshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Derbyshire, England. The job is on a road construction project. What we are looking for: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence The role involves spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
