GMAW welder — Ringgold County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Ringgold County, Iowa. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime Rotating shifts.
