Trowel-trade bricklayer — DeKalb County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in DeKalb County, Missouri. You will work at a renovation and extension job. Day to day you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
