Production machine operator — Lawrence County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production machine operator in Lawrence County, Alabama. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor On a typical shift you will measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches.
