Mobile crane operator • Jones County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Jones County, Iowa. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. The role involves: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Meals and transport allowance provided.
