Urgent requirement: die-casting operator (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in North Northamptonshire, England. On a typical shift you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 5+ years on the tools preferred. £5,100 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
