Overlocker operator — Delta County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Delta County, Texas. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Day to day you will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
