Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production machine operator in Newport County, Rhode Island. The job is in a textile mill. You should have: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery On a typical shift you will key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
