Bricklayer — Cortland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in Cortland County, New York. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. On a typical shift you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
