Bread baker — King County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread baker in King County, Washington. You will be based at a cake shop. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Day-to-day duties: • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them Rotating shifts.
