Flatlock machine operator • Boundary County, Idaho

We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Boundary County, Idaho. You will work on an export house sewing floor. On a typical shift you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
