Great opportunity: pastry baker (Ohio)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pastry baker in Miami County, Ohio. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Your main tasks: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials 1+ years on the tools preferred.
