Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Wayne County, Missouri. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. What we are looking for: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders The role involves lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate.
