Gantry crane operator — Adams County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Adams County, Illinois. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Pay around $220 per day, based on your experience.
