Lathe programmer-operator — Carbon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Carbon County, Wyoming. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. Day to day you will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; load and index turning tools in the turret; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed. What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
