Vacancy available: wheel loader operator (Iowa)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Mahaska County, Iowa. You will work at a stone quarry. You will level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; check for underground cables and services before digging. You should have: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
