Crane operator • Calloway County, Kentucky

Join our team: we are hiring a crane operator in Calloway County, Kentucky. The job is on a busy construction site. Day to day you will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Full-time with occasional weekends.
