Now hiring: we are hiring a glazing installer in Johnson County, Illinois. The job is in a shopfront glazing company. Your main tasks: • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points Requirements: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Own basic hand tools an advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
