Plant operator — Putnam County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator in Putnam County, New York. Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence The role involves load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; stockpile and spread material to the required levels. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
